Women's Leadership in the Post-Covid Workplace
7/28/2020
12:00 PM - 1:15 PM
COVID-19 has turned the world (and work) upside down!  Not without its hurdles, this adjustment period has also shown how resilient and creative we can be when it comes to finding a new path forward. Please join us for an interactive discussion about the impact COVID-19 has had on the workplace and the leadership role you think women can play redefining the future of work.

Led by WILD’s Simta Gupta, VP of Operations at ADM Investor Services and member of their Coronavirus Preparedness Team, and CME Group’s Bethany Netzel, Managing Director, Business Continuity Management Team, this forum will give participants an opportunity to discuss various topics related to the recent shift.

The goal is to inform our members and help them be thought leaders on what the future holds for their workplaces. Following opening remarks, attendees move into breakout sessions of their choice, where they can further discuss these issues. When registering, you will be asked to choose one of the following breakout topics:
  1. Company & Culture: What do you think your company’s biggest learnings and biggest challenges have been from the pandemic? What would you continue to do post pandemic? If you had three pieces of advice for your leaders about how they handled the pandemic, what would they be?
  2. Agility & Collaboration: How has your organization continued to support agility and collaboration in this new world? How can company culture and values be replicated / communicated virtually? How can we better nurture and maintain the spirit of “office comradery” among employees?
  3. Management Perspective: How have you kept your team motivated? How have you successfully onboarded a new employee and/or intern when there is no office. How have you ensured business continuity?
  4. Networking in the Virtual World: Solutions or best practices for networking and growing your community in the virtual world. Tips for job hunting and virtual interviewing.
  5. Technology: What technology tools and functionality have allowed your organization to smoothly transition into WFH? How prepared was your organization? What have we learned and how will this change the future of work?
When the breakout sessions end, attendees will reconvene to share key takeaways, and we will also leave time for Q&A at the end. Following the event, the feedback and resources will be compiled and circulated to attendees.
