To celebrate International Women's Day, please join the WILD Community on March 8th, 2023, at 12:00pm CT for a virtual fireside chat with the fabulous Carla Stent, Marex Group Plc's Board Chair, to discuss her life, career, and advice for women in our industry. Carla will be able to share her story while also touching on hot topics such as navigating a career change as a women, work/life balance, diversity at work, etc. If time allows, we will allow for attendees to partake in a Q&A at the end of the presentation. Carla's Background:
Carla Stent joined the Board of Smith & Williamson on 4 October 2019. She has extensive experience as an executive and non-executive, both in the financial services sector and in other industries.
Carla is currently chair of Marex Group Plc, one of the world’s leading commodities brokers, a non-executive director of Post Office Limited, where she also chairs the audit and risk Committee, and on the boards of JP Morgan Elect plc and some charity and early stage businesses. Her executive career included senior roles at Virgin Group and Barclays Bank. She is a Chartered Accountant registered with both the ICAEW and SAICA.
